Doesn't she look terribly old???
I know, I'm as shocked as anyone that she let me do it. She has always hated haircuts and only allowed trims, and been obsessive about her long hair. I've been wanting to give her a cute little A-line for a while, but she always refuses adamantly.
But last night, as I was giving Hudson a haircut, she said "I think I'm ready for a new school haircut." I said "how short do you want it?" expecting her to say TRIM ONLY, but she surprised me by pulling a strand just below her chin and saying "right to here." I made her look in the mirror to make sure, and she breezily agreed. Then, before either of us could change our minds, I did it. And she loves it! We actually cut off 8 inches, can you believe it? If anyone is having second thoughts, it's me. I was sad to only see a few inches poking out from under her bike helmet this morning, and I think this makes her look very grown-up. But isn't she darling?? All ready for school, she says. Don't remind me!!!
She looks adorable an very old. I bet she is going to be the cutest girl in her class. Tell her she looks great. Also just wanted to let you know that they should be inducing Asley on Thursday and Justin leaves Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI love the new haircut! It looks so cute and very grown up. Tell Kennedy good luck tomorrow. I am so excited for her to start school...although riding the bus with highschoolers is a bit scarey.
ReplyDeleteI've debated on wether I should do this To Adyson or not, I've been tempted for like a year! It turned out darling...and who knew you have yet another talent...cutting hair. Is there anything you can't do?
ReplyDeleteI had Hannas hair cut like that last year for school and loved it. I am trying to decide if I should do it again. There is nothing cuter thana little a line. Its amazing how much older it makes them look. She is so beautiful. Have fun sending her to school. It is so hard. Hanna starts 1st grade and I just think how is she going to carry her own lunch tray and everything. I am more scared for her than she is.
ReplyDeleteShe does look so grown up. She also looks like she has TONS of hair-lucky girl. Good luck with school.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOUR HAIR KENNEDY! and don't worry about school everything will go great! I can't wait to hear how it goes! :) -Jenna
