Here is my little Kennedy ready for school on Friday, excited for her Valentine's Day party. (still a little tired, though!)
I saw this triple-heart hair-do on a website last year and was excited to try it out. She absolutely loved it!
And here are the kids excited for our traditional Valentine's "Fancy Dinner." They love using fancy cups for a fun drink. Kennedy set the table herself and made cute placecards. Steak and crablegs, thanks Dustin!
And because Valentine's Fancy Dinner isn't about fighting, this is what Hudson ate... :)
Dustin does such a great job with Valentines Day. The kids are always so excited to see his surprises set out for them that morning.
Here are Kennedy's...
Here are Hudson's...
And here are mine. Thanks Sweetie!
Garret and Trulie came up to stay Friday night and we had so much fun hanging out with them. We went out for lunch, had a nap, and then went out for dinner and a movie, no kids! Woo hoo!
I was so touched by all the birthday wishes coming my way this weekend: Phone calls, messages with singing -love it- cards, and the most amazing blog post about me from my sister. It brought me to tears, Jenna, I was so touched. One of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. I love you too! Thank you to everyone who made my day special.
I'm a lucky girl!
You can still be a "girl" till you're 30, right?
lOVE THE HAIRDO. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
ReplyDeleteWhat a CUTE idea for hair! I will definitely be trying this one on my little ladies next year :)
ReplyDeleteI am a little late, but Happy Birthday to you girly. Your sister is right ... you are amazing (always have been). I always enjoyed your company and wished that we lived closer so I could enjoy it some more! Enjoy 29 but look at it this way ... we only get tastier with age and so look out 30 here we come :)
I love you Shello jello! I am sure you had a wonderful birthday with a hubbie like that! I loved Kennedy's hair as well and Hudson's pbandj, priceless! What a good Momma!
ReplyDeleteI loved my Shark steam mop until it broke. Make sure you keep the reciept and warranty info in case your's breaks too (hopefully it won't). Happy late birthday. Looks like your v-day was fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYou are DEFINITELY still a girl. I think you're one of those people that will be a "girl" till your 80! :) And thanks for the comment on my blog about pregnancy - it helped snap me back into reality for a while. The hair, presents, and dinner all look amazing, by the way. Maybe next year I'll try to be as ambitious as you.
