I know it's been a REALLY long time...

A month and a half, actually, but who's counting? I'll catch up sometime. Or maybe not. Maybe you'll all just have to guess at the absolute whirlwind that was our lives during the month of July...and half of August.

Anyway, here is something new! We had the funnest FHE with our friends the Jensens the other night. Lisa-Marie is, like, the funnest mom ever and makes Zucchini boats with her kids every summer...I know, what a great idea! Like you are seriously going to eat those monsters...

Anyway, we did a short lesson on Noah's Ark...

(it was something like this: L-M:"Noah asked Heavenly Father for help when he had to build the ark because it was really hard. Is there anything that is hard for you to do that you could ask Heavenly Father for help with? Kennedy: "Yeah, like when I'm cleaning my room or need help finding something." Unfortunately, in the immortal words of Jami, "finding stuff" is not one of her talents...)
And then we made the arks!

*the band-aid is from a bad scooter accident on Friday night. Didn't need stitches, but it was questionable...can't believe we've been this lucky with this little wild child...wouldn't that band-aid drive you nuts? It totally makes the situation bearable for him though...poor little monkey...

We even put animals in the arks. Hudson could not resist tasting his first....
And here comes the flood...

It was a great night, thank you to the Jensens for the fun time!

* A great night except for the flat tire I got on my bike later that evening about 8 miles from home....sorry about the not-even-half a ride we got to do, Lisa-Marie. All right, look, I'm just going to break it to you. I'm doing a sprint triathalon, here in Rexburg, it's on Saturday, and I'm ready...We can partly blame the lack of blogging on all the training. It's been awesome, I promise I'll post on Sunday all about it.

  1. Sounds like a fun FHE. I keep thinking I need to start doing them. Good luck in your triathalon. You will do great.
